Aesthetic disaster aside, I feel better knowing the gaps are sealed up. If you're looking to patch up worn out mortar this stuff is excellent; very sturdy and hardens fairly quickly. I'm guessing the variation in reviews has to be down to how long the product has stood on the shelf and the conditions it has been stored in. Mixed reviews had me seriously doubting this product.

This was absolutely perfect, came out so easily after a quick 10 min soak in warm water, moulded to shape and hardened off in a couple days, even inch deep holes. Sanded down after, and job done! However, for just over £4 delivered, I didn't see I had very much to lose by trying it. The product was fit-for-purpose and was easy enough to use.

It is however, a very pale pink colour when it dries as opposed to the sand colour it's advertised as so I have noticeable pink patches around my brickwork now. Purchased this to point up a small section of failed mortar above the garage, easy to apply, I used a 13mm pointing trowel and put a small amount on a a time, building it up until it was flush with the stone, colour match was good, better than the existing cement (see grey either side of stone) I allowed it to dry, which took 15 minutes in the sun, then used a soft bristle brush to go over once done. It wasn't too hard or too sloppy and I shaped and smoothed much of it with my finger once I'd squeezed it into the recess.

Took a gamble due to the negative reviews. Needed something to fill a garden bird bath pedestal after it had been smashed into 3 pieces and gorilla glued. I'm very satisfied with the results and it hardened nicely overnight.

I had a very difficult time getting it out of the tube however and ended up scooping it out of the bottom with a plastic knife after giving up on trying to squeeze it out of the top. When package arrived it was open and one of the two items were missing
