Simply add three drops of Milkaid® lactase enzyme to a pint of milk, gently shake, refrigerate for 24 hours and it is ready to use in cooking, beverages and cereals, hot or cold. This type of lactase enzyme has been used for many years to hydrolyse the lactose in milk to make lactose-free products. Once Lacteeze is added to milk (or any other liquid dairy product) a conversion process takes place where the lactose is broken down into simple glucose and galactose milk sugars which can be more easily digested. Lacteeze Drops contain a form of Tilactase which is derived from yeast. We recommend that younger children start with 10 drops per pint giving 100% reduction – again reducing by one drop at a time.
