Vegan leather is always a nice touch and gives it a retro look. Confession time. I crashed hard into the pavement and was left with a concussion and broken right collar bone. No wakes up planning to wipe out on their commute to work, but here I am — because helmets save lives, and Thousand’s helmet is no exception.

I definitely recommend this helmet, and it’s comfortable as a bonus. Being able to thread it through a bike lock is genius and certainly makes it easier so I don’t have to carry it while parked.

Also, the "different" buckle took me a few times to get used to, but I love it now. I swore I was going to get whiplash and be sore, maybe even get a migraine or a bad pain flare, I have fibromyalgia.

Just at much slower speeds from now on. The helmet does not have thick padding inside.
