I first met Bartley when I was 10 years old as he was a great close friend to my father. This book like many books can be a little over reacting but it’s all true as can be. I can’t write what I’d like about Bartley as not enough time, but he was a character. He was a very respectful man who expected respect back.
This book tells half a story of a man I had the pleasure of knowing and spending time with. His house was full of all things you can imagine. One thing I will remember is when he invited us into his home in tean behind the ship pub.
