Was easy to set up the time first time round, but haven't done the alarm or any other feature, so can't comment on anything else. Suppose it could feel a little cheap as its very light but is pretty much what i was expecting for the money and didn't want it heavy anyway.

U just got to press it and it tell u the time so it doesn't matter if it dark Every other battery operated watch that I have ever purchased has hada battery that lasts several years. Once set, the speaking or talking mode will click in and you can simply press the button at 2pm for thespoken time which has a mans voice speaking standard English.

Apart from that, I quite like the product, the talking aspect is of help for those with poor vision or in my casesimply to check the time at night or when in poor light. The watch also sets itself for BST andhas an alarm function, and hourly chime, which you can turn on/off. The Instructions state"Your watch has been fitted with a test demonstration battery.

My watch took about 4 minutes to set itself. This recent purchase of a Tavistock & Jones Men's Radio Controlled watch had its good and bad points. The downside of this watch is that the battery might not have much of a life-span.

The numbers are nice and big making it easier to read and it's easy to get it to say the date/time out loud. Keeping to the instructions, I found it easy to adjust, you simply press the buttonnext to 2pm for about 3 seconds and the watch picks up the signal from Anthorn in Cumbria, or thetransmitter nearest to where you are in the world. The watch runs on a CR2032 lithiumbattery.

Surely it would not break the bank to have installed a long life batterywith every watch? Got this as a present for an older man. Overall a good buy and would buy again!
