This book is more than just the artwork, Iris has managed to enchant and engage with her prose as well. What is there not to like. Im so happy to find this lovely ladies art and her many refreshing words. But it’s a beautiful book.

The art inside pared with short descriptions and stories make for a magical experience. Its all there, written so as all you adults that got too serious can find joy once again in the great outdoors. They dont ever doubt me but of late i doubted myself until i saw this book!

Flora and fauna. Haven’t read. How to find the fae, the green man, mushrooms and faerie rings then onto our beautifull, outdoor England to the forest to find the many faces in the trees.

I think its bold to say but i truely believe in all the magic in the world that turns out good. It is also very different but no less beautiful.

I was absolutely blown away by the quality of Iris’s artwork which is definitely up there with Brian Froud in my opinion. I have had my doubts as an adult but as a child it was the most interesting subject to route out. Simply wonderful.

! You will not regret buying this book Read through the stories and remember all you now realise you forgot. The book itsself is great quality, both physical and art wise.
