The only reason I didn’t gave it a higher rating is because sometimes it felt a bit slow-paced, and even though I loved the characters, sometimes they danced on my last nerves. The slow-burn romance allowed the characters to grow closer emotionally, and it played up the romance really well. Perhaps this was precisely the great weak point that many people have found in this book, I have read several conflicting opinions about it.

As The Spanish Love Deception disappointed me, I was hoping for The American Roommate Experiment not to do so. Not the way you did. If you are like me and are a complete sucker for faultless epilogues, pick this book up!
