Suddenly copydex sprang into my head, I remember that when not bonded to another surface, it actually removes very easily, it’s almost like a bubblegum, and this would allow me to cover the sensitive areas and then perform the finishing steps before removing the covering of glue. After having to buy my son a bigger size in his beavers jumper, the thought of having to unpick all the badges and resew them on to the new jumper, filled me with dread! I marked it down one star as I cannot stand the smell of it 🤢. This glue reminds me of my childhood, my families business always had bottles of this stuff for working with card and paper.

Instead of hours of sewing, it took me minutes and the badges stuck really well! Have even lined a whole vintage suitcase with new fabric. This is good stuff! Used this to repair headphones and later a strip of wood on a pool table.

It’s a really great glue for crafting, it has so many different uses when working with all sorts of materials and if you don’t have it in your craft box, you probably should rectify this. I used it to repair our utility tent and it worked perfectly.

I’m sure anybody who’s used this particular glue will be familiar with the smell of it, although I don’t know where it’s my senses that have dulled, but this doesn’t seem to have anywhere near the offensive fishy smell that I remember so vividly. It doesn't smell when dry. Purchased to glue some patches on a jumper and have used it numerous times since.

Will be buying more! Very versatile in use.

I considered PVA glue (AKA school glue! Very easy to apply and use and worked a treat It has a small brush inside for easier application.
