Have been a fan since 1977 5 decades of pure escapism but enough is enough don't turn it into a never ending soap opera please. Add in a new Atmos soundtrack too, and this movie which is now 43 years old, looks and sounds better than ever. Omg if your a star wars fan then this is the box set for you.

The 4K picture quality isn’t great across the board. I tried playing all them and they all play perfectly fine. A New Hope looks amazing (when it’s not CG) and the Sequels being new of course looked the best.

People who are complaining that they wanted the Non-Special-Edition versions can watch them on videocassette (but they won’t be anywhere as good as this set is). To me this is a good thing - a man sent by a gangster to collect a debt would not kill the debtor, not without gaining the extreme disfavour of his gangster boss. It really makes a difference. Star Wars has great sound design.

The box set its self is beautiful but I do think it could have been priced lower and would have sold more copies. Except for The Last Jedi which is Banta Do-Do. The detail is amazing and the sound makes you feel like your in a cinema.

I liked it cos it's Star Wars! I can make out things in shadows which I had never noticed before, despite probably seeing this particular film a hundred times. The Blu-ray version would upscale into 4K with Standard Dynamic Range, but this new transfer is something very special. I checked all the discs including the bonus discs and there is no marks on any of them.

Thankfully I didn't have those problems. ! I'm delighted with this! The laser blasts bouncing around the trash-compactor sound great on a decent home cinema setup.

Easy to touch the playing surface when taking the discs out. All of the bonus features in that 2001 set are present here in this box, and a lot more goodies besides.
