Stunning photos and incredible recipes. I got to know Maunika Gowardhan's cookery through her 2015 recipe book Indian Kitchen, having been cooking south Asian cusine since the early 1980's. Pic is butter chicken which I made from her first book, but the quality is there throughout all books and her app. Since Indian Kitchen, the recipe books (I have Thali which is also excellent) have gone from strength to strength, raising the standards both in production value, clarity of instruction and accessibility.

Frankly I'd cook and eat them every day if my waistline allowed! Having attended one of the open cookery events for the launch of Tandoori which Maunika hosted I can testify to the outstanding quality of the food produced - it was just out of this world, and Tandoori allows one to recreate the effects of the cooking techniques at home without specialist equipment.

We love Maunika’s food. Highly recommend. Her recipes are really accessible and authentic, taking you far beyond the usual 'meat/vegetable plus curry sauce' of a lot of standard cookbooks.

This is a beautiful book. I love all the background information Maunika provides too. I love all these books and they are part of my favourite go to recipes!
