I am left handed, Hence the problem. This is the best grater I've used hands down. Just not as great for lefties. threw away the old version of box grater.

I'm not about to divorce my husband for it. This thing is so freaking tactical, well made and sharp that I successfully defended my family and home against an angry ninja army with it. I admit, the grater I was replacing is about 40 years old, and it had a few things wrong with it.

This is without a doubt the best grater I have ever owned the quality is superior But it is well worth the price if you shred and grate a lot. And grating citrus peels, which I do a lot - wow, what a difference. I bought this slicer a few weeks ago after my old plastic one finally broke after many years of use.

It seems more than adequate though and I've been pretty hard on it in general. The shredding side I think was getting dull - wouldn't you get dull after 40 years of shredding carrots? so much easier to shred everything from soft mozzarella which is usually a real hassle to grate and slices so easily even through root vegetables, like sweet potatoes.
