The pictures do no do the cover and the final pages justice whatsoever. This book is fantastic! The cover is embossed and the colorful illustrations bring the pages to life. The quality of this book is wonderful.

I was always told no and I was too short to ever take it off the top shelf to ever even look at it. The book looks awesome and I’m so excited to give it to my daughter tomorrow for Christmas however I was paging through it before wrapping it and the pages were glued together.

I’m hoping the new one I ordered to replace it won’t be glued together. The cover has three green stones, obviously fake stones, that are embedded within the cover, and the dragon design is foil embossed. OMG this book is so awesome!

830 Many of the pages are very interactive, such as a note that you can decipher with the dragon language alphabet they give, as well as riddles, and spots where they provide a "dragon skin" specimen that you can actually feel, which is actually kinda trippy, and interactive stages between embryo development within the eggs. It seems like a magical book when you hold it.

The dragon head on the very last page has a giant eye in which you can see your reflection, which is also quite interesting, though it did startle me the first time I saw it since I wasn't expecting. *It is fiction, of course. I don’t regret this for even a moment. I'd recommend these for middle school age and older!
