I can't wait to explore the poems some more, and then it'll be onto A Poem for Every Night of the Year. . As one would expect, it features one poem for every day of the year; this much I'd expected, but when the book arrived I was delighted to find that each date features a short paragraph either about the poem or about any special occasions or events that can be marked on that day. I have enjoyed most poems that I have read.

I'd like to have the willpower to savour one poem one day at a time and make this last me all 366 days (yes, it covers 29th February! A beautiful book, just a shame that my delivery man threw the parcel over the fence, breaking the box which could be the reason the cover has tears and nicks in it now! This was a lovely touch that I hadn't expected, and the illustrations inside are as delicious as this hardback book's cover artwork. Poems look great
