I did think that in using this function that there would be an obvious degradation of picture and/or sound quality, but in fact it manages to handle this process very well. Having a direct LNB connection on the back for S2 decoding is a fantastic addition, and I hope to connect this direct to our sat dish soon to test out how well it works. This is a very well featured 32 inch LED Android Tv that gives you access to all your favourite tv apps that are pre-loaded onto the tv; however, you are able to install additional apps/features via the android app store. The media could not be loaded.

There is also the ability to be able to cast video content from another device (phone/tablet etc. Everything is marked clearly and easy to see and the symbols used on some of the buttons are both commonly used and/or intuitive. On the whole and certainly for the purchase price, this is a very capable piece of technology, it has great sound/picture output and there is so much on offer here to provide all of the entertainment that you could need and is all incredibly easy to set up and use.

The tv has a good amount of connectivity with external hardware like, speakers, headphones, games consoles and all of these peripherals are easy to link up to the tv to add even more entertainment features, some of which can be done via Bluetooth/WIFI, rather than requiring the use of cables. In addition, the tv searches for digital tv stations and it managed to find all stations within our region fully and quickly. The remote is compact but has all needed functions there as physical buttons which make using it that much easier.

However, this doesn’t happen all of the time and after a while, you do adjust to how the tv operates and behaves; albeit a firmware update or equivalent to fix this issue would be very welcomed to enable a smoother running user interface. One point of note that I have experienced and is a slight minus point, is that the tv can on occasion lag somewhat when you are trying to change channels/adjust volume or move between different menus, apps and features. Sound is as good as can be expected as it is such a small tv and perfectly adequate for use in the bedroom.

A great product that is feature and entertainment rich. Both the sound and picture quality whilst watching the tv either via the digitally stored channels or via any of the entertainment apps is actually very good and there is the ability to tweak the settings to adjust features to your preferences, all of this works really well and produces great results. The only area I feel could be improved similar to other TV like this is the processing power behind the Android TV functions.

However its not a show stopper and is more than acceptable for most users. There is also HDR to assist with delivering realistic colours and to balance the brightness, temperature and contrast. It does a very reasonable job at executing this function and there is a noticeable difference between using HDR and not using it. I have used this a fair bit and it works really well.
