I’ll include some photos of my first attempts. After watching a few of her Utube videos it helps to understand the instructions more. Even alpaca didn't felt well.

It’s just really complete and because of how thoughtful she was and putting this together, you’re assured greater success in the outcome. I think they came out really cute for my first attempt! Have made 3 so far. I tried a couple weeks ago the basic bear without any success.

The illustrations in the directions could be a little larger for my eyesight. My completed animals are not all exactly as pictured. Because the author takes great care to not only describe in text each step she also takes photos at multiple angles and provides line drawings and technical diagrams. Haha

This is my first foray into needle felting and I am hooked. I’ve gotten a little more advanced since these but at least you can see what to expect out of your first few attempts in this book. This book is a fantastic learning tool to make the most adorable critters!

I highly recommend this book! Note that I did not convert any of these to brooches like the author recommends. Everyone loves the results, though, and I am completely hooked! In any event, this is a craft that you can share with your kids, sell or enjoy yourself.
