They are usually a good read but this changes that trope and more credit to the author for trying something different. I'm not sure if it's good or bad, but it's certainly a massive change of direction and completely out of sync. The third act is. Give it a chance.
This could really have been 2 separate books. Until the shift change it was begging to be a film, now. different.
The 4 stars are for the rest of the book in truth and whilst this is nowhere near as good as I Am Pilgrim, it is a refreshing change to the volume of one man super hero Reacher types. .
I really enjoyed this but did wonder hownit was going to fill the pages when the plot felt done about two thirds through. I think it's one step too far.
