Archie then decides to investigate together with his two best friends. A great introduction to the magic of Pride, that difference isn’t scary and learning that there’s a place for everyone. It is certainly a book aimed at a younger audience, the writing is really nice and confidential, in fact the novel begins with Archie asking the reader to watch his back for make sure no one is spying on him because in the following pages he will reveal one of his greatest secrets! Today I'm here to talk to you about a very sweet novel: Me, my dad and the rainbow by Benjamin Dean!

This needs to be made into a film immediately. I found this brilliant formula and I think it is the right key to introducing a seemingly simple story but which in itself contains important and delicate themes.

Very uplifting and affirming. A really beautiful children’s book with plenty for adults to enjoy too. I’ll be shouting about how important this story is and how vital it’s message is for a long time, and I would love to see it implemented into every primary school library programme.

- Well done Ben ☺️ The writing is witty, intelligent and easy to follow, 5/5! In short, the plot: the protagonist is Archie, a twelve-year-old boy who finds himself facing a fairly difficult moment: the separation of his parents. What makes everything more difficult is not only the fact that it seems that the two hate each other but that, above all, they are hiding a secret from them.

Thank you, Ben, for creating this masterpiece. But how difficult will it be to face the reality of things?

I had so much fun reading this and with every chapter I was imagining what it would look like on the screen. As a fully fledged Lesbian with queer parents this is everything I'd want from young person's fiction.

It's fun and heartwarming, with lots of action along the way. I found the protagonist a child with a unique sensibility who, rather than closing himself in, decides to ask for help from his friends and his extravagant blue-haired Babysitter! All this to try to understand what is happening to his family and to make sure that the love that binds there is not destroyed by prejudice!
