My 6 year old loves this book! I love how many of the recipe have a slight twist to them and promote healthy eating to children. tahini, turmeric & ginger.

This book is amazing, the recipes are easy to follow and the use of ingredients is genius. Although this is aimed at kids, I bought it for myself (an adult) and I have already planned a few dishes to try soon!

There is a clear list of ingredients on the side of this introduction, along with some illustrations of the ingredients too. There is an introduction at the start of the book by the author, the winner of the 2019 UK Great British Bake Off, followed by a little about what will be needed to make the recipes and terms used in cooking, and then the rest of the book is filled with lots of different recipes for children to try making. It’s a great book to get for kids who are interested in getting involved in the kitchen, or it might even spark interest for some children who aren’t so keen. Overall this is a lovely and great first book of baking and cooking for kids.

Other current ‘on trend’ ingredients are here too, such as chia seeds. This is a great fist cook book for children to try out lots of different, easy to make and delicious recipes. This book is wonderful. I also like the fact that there are some good veggie recipes too, like the veggie hot dogs although that particular recipe forgot to mention adding the beans to the rest of the mix.

Whod of thought making chocolate brownies with sweet potato but it works and tastes amazing. I love how simple all of the recipes seem to be and how easy the book makes them look to make.

The recipes are perfectly pitched for kids - what they can manage to make and what they'd like to eat. A very impressive first cookbook which was sent to me by Walker Books for reviewing, thank you. This is like a classic kids cookbook but updated for the 21st century (veggie sushi, tacos, hummus).
