This is where it’s problem lies - some form of straps would be useful as any movement and it slips off. This is one of those things that may take up space and get in the way but when it's needed it's a God's send. I recently broke my ankle and it swelled up like a balloon. 20 mins on 30 mins off.

It suggests placing in fridge/freezer for 3hrs or longer, I feel if you were to do this you would need to place a towel or cloth in between pack and skin to avoid burns. It is one complete sheet and the instructions seem to be generic ones but the idea is the same. It's easily accessible around the shin and makes icing those shin splints a lot easier. I borrowed a cold therapy wrap from a friend initially but needed one for myself.

Personally I would prefer to ice the top of the foot more but I didn't buy it for that. I had spent a few hours wrapping wheat bags around one bit at a time as they constantly moved, to reduce swelling in my leg after knee replacement surgery.

Won't come apart. Great for shin splints I used them straight on my shins as with a tea towel it wasn’t cold enough for me but that’s personalChoice, it’s helped my shin splints recover 3 weeks sooner than expected still using after 7km plus runs, tge stainless Streep ball is great for your muscles around the shins I freeze that aswell and it still rolls easily, tge resistance band wasn’t for me so gave to my other half she loves that I needed something to bring the swelling down and help lessen the pain. Easy to use

The pack can be folded quite compactly for fitting in the freezer. It can’t be used directly on the skin. I thought this is way too much and googled for something similar. Although I've only had the product a day.

I was not disappointed, it is very easy to use. Restricts the movement of the ankle as well so keeps it nice and steady for the 10-20 mins you want to ice. I hope you find my review helpful 😊
