You get a wonderful setting without overwhelming worldbuilding, romance without it drowning out the actual plot, so many interesting characters, LGBTQ representation, PoC representation, beautiful friendships and some spicy scenes as well. Reading chronologically through his works makes it obvious how much he has grown as a writer and this one is his peak so far.
