I modified the controller by replacing the thumbsticks with those of the xbox one controller, which are far superior in design due to their concave centre and textured edges, meaning no slippage. The design of the New Dualshock 4 controller itself is fine. The thumbsticks are also terrible.

Bought it to replace my old DS4 as the touchpad wasn't working Although listed as new, the item delivered was clearly used. So I take partial blame. But I suppose it's a lesson of buyer beware.

Just a word of warning about this product as sold by Amazon EU S. But I think the battery life could be improved, and I find that occasionally the controller loses 'sync' with the system, requiring a reset using the pinhole on the back of the controller. I didn't realise that I was not purchasing directly from Sony/Amazon UK when I bought it.

I like having the light up-front now. However, on the invoice, the item is still listed as "Condition: New" (pics included of both the invoice and the controller).
