I was using a hook that came from a starter pack, thin metal, no handle. 5mm or a 4mm. Very good hook, comfortable, easy to hold, color is nice and it is good quality. .

Great cheaper alternative to clover. Especially if your a newbie and don’t want to spend £££ just in case you don’t like the hobby lol. The 3. Nice smooth tip no snagging or sticking.

The handles feel lovely, the metal hook is smooth and to size. They are a nice shape, have a non slip feel, easy and comfortable to hold so doesn't make my fingers ache like some of the 'normal' straight crochet hooks.
