Either way, issues aside, it’s a pretty set of books to have. It kind of gives you a choice, to use the coloured paper around the book, or to keep it just with the plain black, classic-looking, hardback.

IMHO It's the best collection boxset for LOTR. Again that might not seem like an issue to some but for the price you’d expect the quality to come through. On the 2nd photo you can slightly see the alignment issue I've mentioned above.

: I think Amazon is not good enough for buying collector's books. And Companion book is brilliant. The dust cover on the Fellowship of the Ring also doesn’t align which might not be an issue to some but I think it’s rather bloody annoying! I like a lot Harper's design from 2006/2007.
