I thought it was going to pale in comparison to others. This book was an emotional roller-coaster from start to finish, but that ending hits so hard and I'm a wreck. each book is better than the last and this is hands down one of the most amazing worlds I’ve ever read. Their reactions to Slade had me laughing so hard, especially when they were just rolling around in his bed.

Gleam was an emotional rollercoaster in parts. The way emotional manipulation and abuse are portrayed in this series is out of this world. The character dialogue is so natural that I was sucked straight into the story and felt connected to the characters. I don't usually include TWs in my reviews, but I want to emphasise that this series is DARK.
