It was great how Mia learnt so much about herself through this story and learns to live. It was simply purrfect, hehe. I also warmed to her vulnerability too. What a way to show the power and unconditional love of pets.

There were a few slightly ick moments for me, but they weren’t too off putting. This could be the one to help society learn how to do better- be kind. Best enjoyed when taken with a pinch of salt,a smile.

But deep down it’s core is connecting with your pet and other like minded animal lovers,,finding yourself and not caring about what others think or do as long as you are happy. Midway through the book, I almost felt my heart stop. This book is about a women’s loneliness and grief and how it controlled her life making her even more sad……. I am a cat lady, I’ve experienced the joy and grief of owning a pet and l love this authors very unique writing style.
