At night or with blackout blind down it is awesome. I have it paired with a Fire stick, which gives me normal TV Netflix and Amazon prime. The sound is fine and put an external speaker and its even better. Fantastic purchase, that's all I can say!

And, if I were to take this abroad (I shan't) then it has two alternate cables with European and US plugs. Secondly is the length of the power cable - much too short unless put the projector next to an outlet. The set-up was a doddle - not least because this comes with a host of useful connectors. A tripod is included which helps raise and angle the projector.

We are also using a Amazon FireTV stick on the right side of the projector although there is a insert on the left side which is designed for a Roku stick it will not allow the FireTV stick to go in there due to its side usb power design which takes up more space than the Roku, which plugs its usb power to its rear end allowing it to fit easier but its not a major issue as there plenty of hdmi slots. I can only see a couple of minor disadvantages. And I think I have just the place to mount it.

Yes there is some fan noise but it's not loud and the built in speakers are excellent. The size of the projector is small and one of the reasons we chose projectors over a tv as its easier to place in a room, easier to mount, good connectivity and simpler to power with less destruction to a bedroom wall as you have to sort out mounting a tv and finding a power source then hiding a multitude of cables for the various devices and you get nowhere the near same size of image for the same price point. I recommend this for anyone on a tight budget who wants to upgrade their home cinema or big-screen casual gaming setup. At around 7 feet from the screen it has around a 80inch picture.

This is an excellent projector for the price point. I actually found an option higher than that, but 1920x1080 is the highest it'll go for smooth 60 Hz output. It is not too big, easily fits on a wall mount bracket and has all the features I need.
