But once he rescues odd girl, that speaks forbidden language and acts quite aggressively, from the ocean - things goes on a wild hunt! I greatly enjoyed how the relationships between the characters developed along with the plot. IF YOU LIKE. One seeks to save world from bloodthirsty sirens, while other crave for the sea and death.

Slowly Lira starts to find that human side that her mother has gone to great lengths to beat out of her, even as Elias questions his own morality as a killer. This book is a MUST HAVE! Also did I mention Sirens and Pirates? I can’t recommend this book enough.
