if you pay $800~$1500+ for headphones and then you are told you need to pay another $400-$2000 more to unlock the potential of the headphones, for bass, mid or terrible via DAC or AMP. A strong buy recommendation, but spend the extra money on a good parametric 10-band EQ plug-in for your computer. as there was no comparison, whoever gave the HD800 series the crown must have hearing problems.

Primarily this consisted of many hours on Youtube listening to qualified people doing comparisons and reviews. After getting everything setup, I was totally blown away with the Aryas. A bit more plastic than I would like, so I picked up the Amazon offered 3 year warranty which seemed like an exceptional deal.

Using Oratory1990 parametric EQ settings from Reddit, it took the Arya headphones to a whole new level. I was pairing the Arya with the SMSL M400 DAC and the Monoprice Monolith THX amp (both are best in class for their price points and are on Amazon).
