So basically it's huge, well made, sometimes they can be made with minor mistakes, which can be easily fixed, like the gap at the back, I added cardboard so he they get stuck . If you’re thinking of buying this, do it! This is the cage that everyone should get to keep their hamsters happy. We aren’t using the top shelf further up as we don’t our hamster to fall and hurt himself.

However- if you’re looking for a nice roomy cage that looks good too then this is great. My female Syrian is housed in this and it has plenty of room for different kinds of enrichment and she is really happy and thriving in it.
