Great for Gaming and Multi Threading After six months with the processor, I can say it's a very good CPU, especially when paired with a good graphics card, and one I do not regret buying! I think this cpu is great, has good performance, can handle high temps up to 95c max with no performance differences, (used air cooler for a week temporarily) it ran fine. Loving this CPU, great for gaming, runs Photoshop and lightroom great.

Depending on your budget, id get the Ryzen 5 7600/x. Performance crazy With an AMD Radeon 7900XTX, I benchmarked an average:175FPS in Modern Warfare III @ 3440x1440 Highest graphics settings, 65FPS on Red Dead Redemption II @ 3440x1440 Highest graphics settings, 75-95FPS in Grand Theft Auto V @ 3440x1440 Highest graphics settingsIt overclocks to 5. With the Arctic Freezer II it ran low temps.

Paired it with a RTX 3070 and it’s doing great in gaming. Literally the queen and I don’t think anyone will dispute this fact, get it if gaming is your main focus, it doesn’t even bottleneck a 4090 so you’ll have a good upgrade path with this, even on programmes that aren’t games it still runs well but there are definitely better options if gaming is not your focus in my opinion.

Love it! Easy to fit, couldn't get it wrong. Would recomend the Ryzen 5, if youve got the money. 9GHz with AMD's Adrenalin software, and when paired with a good water cooler, it rarely reaches 90 C.

Good cpu for pretty much anything you'll do on it like Video editing, streaming and especially gaming because it has the 3d vcashe technology in it. AM5 is a bit jittery with DDR5 on Expo settings, but other than that and the slight high temps at times, nothing to scoff at. But keep in mind you need a gpu that wouldnt bottleneck the cpu for it to perform well so please dont say the cpu is bad when you run a gtx 1060 with it😂.

Bought it solely for gaming and it’s crushing everything I throw at it. AMD outdoes their self with price-performance ratio being the best in the market.

It’s better price for performance however I just had an extra £80 that I didnt mind adding thats why i chose the 7700x for slightly faster boost speeds and the extra cores and threads. Get this 7700x.
