Reviews

John

It provides an impressive panoramic overview of the challenges faced by the Allied and Japanese armies and how events unfolded, while at the same time sensitively describing the actions of those who fought in such appalling conditions. This book is a masterpiece that explains the Burma Campaign very clearly and yet so eloquently. Fresh new insight to an area that often avoids the spotlight of the narrative.

Tanglefoot

New as described, 500+ pages, next day delivery, recommend. Enjoyable read and new perspective on the Burma campaign. Robert Lyman’s comments about the leaders on all sides are also most illuminating.
