I read a previous review of someone being unhappy about the material, but I haven’t had any problems or regrets buying this. It has become one of my baby's favorite toys. The tissues are so soft and the box so smooth that pulling one out will never pull another tissue out after it.

The lid is made of plastic and the box is made of cardboard. The cardboard part has a very sturdy feel and despite what other reviewers have said I have found it to be very durable. The 8 coloured tissues are very good quality, they are soft and have a floaty feel to them. It would have been nice if it were all plastic.

At the time, there weren't many alternative tissue box toys to choose from. However, we have found it doesn't work that well as a tissue box, it is so deep that the cloths just seem to end up in a heap at the bottom. I think it would have been a good idea to put these slots all around the opening, so that all 8 tissues could be pulled out this way. They have also survived my daughter using them as cloths to clean the floor without any fraying or tears.

It’s cute and comes with a lot of fabric to pull out. Overall, this has been a very well loved toy but we have found that the box has been used more as just storage for the cloths rather than a tissue box. Besides, the design is cute.
