However, even with full prior knowledge of how to put it together, it probably still took me the best part of 2 hours. The machine is very quiet which for me was a selling point due to living on 4th floor and having neighbours underneath me.

It has support to leave the mobile phone and USB for charging. It comes with all the tools you need, so you don't even need to open your own toolbox. Relatively easy to assemble, did this by myself though could have done with a little more clear direction for the electrics as I did it wrong and had to re-do which was a balancing act. The unit itself took a leisurely 90 minutes to build (from picture 1 to Picture 2.

It is nice that an Ipad can be safely held on the on-board computer, so you can also watch movies etc and the training passes like in the flight. Although not shown in the product photos, there is a tablet/phone holder at the base of the control panel which is a great new addition (compared to the first version I owned).
Remote Control Giant
The on-board computer can be operated intuitively if you are halfway affinity. The build itself seems sturdy, and I feel safe on it. The screws/hardware comes packaged and labelled so conveniently- see my pic, and each piece has its picture below in case you forget what you took out.

It has a heart-rate monitor built into the static handles, but it's pretty slow to register and display an accurate heart-rate, so like most people I rely on my watch instead. Really impressed with the smoothness and this gives a workout equal to a gym machineSetup - takes ages. It is quite simple in theory, but can be a little fiddly and heavy at times. Use the trainer now for about 5 weeks daily.

Came in a 54kg box, extremely well packaged in styrofoam. I’ve had a treadmill at home for about 10 years and had to buy really expensive noise cancelling headphones to watch my tablet while running and it makes such a huge difference not having that noise. Only bad point for me is the screen which is a bit messy and dark, but a very minor bad point.
