Purchased from Amazon Warehouse second-hand -with all the reservations-, it arrived well packaged; with the original packaging somewhat damaged, and with some brand of use that I will comment on later (see attached photos), but in general in good aesthetic condition. The construction, compared to the K612 Pro, is more “Pro”; better materials and details, and the headband that rests on the head, YES, is made of leather against the 612, which is made of synthetic leather as expressed in the review. As I say, I bought this second-hand headset, and I have to say that it is in much better condition of use than the previous AKG K 612 Pro whose reference is above.

I was excited about this model because of its good reviews since my budget is small, but as I say, the quality of its materials has disappointed me; not so its sound, which has improved substantially compared to my previous headphones. and of course without forgetting that each person's hearing system has slight nuances. TL;DR: Amazing sound quality for the price with mediocre build quality and high clamping force right out the box. When I discovered the pads I took them out hoping they'll improve the soundstage and top-end and oh boy did it no lie the highs got higher and the instruments got much wider!

I got them used like new for about 120$, they sound more neutral than the Sennheiser HD6XX headphones (which I got for about 250$) and have much better stereo imaging, the only things worse about them in terms of sound quality is that they are slightly less detailed than the Sennheiser HD6XX. Bad longevity bodes for this part of the headset. The lower part of the headband (the one that has contact with the head) is a sheet of gray plastic material, no leather or equivalent material.
