The much more compact design of the lens finally persuaded me to buy & after some tests the lens is a very useful companion even at night. A convincing lens in handling, as it is compact and fast. The workmanship is used to Fuji very high quality. In comparison with price performance, this lens is unbeatable, recommend it to everyone!

Oh, good. After a long test period, this lens is the ideal addition to the XF 35mm F2 WR for me. Small , sharp and versatile.

I rarely use my small zoom now. I have used a lot of cameras over more than 50 years and know that lens quality definitely makes a difference - one of the reasons that I like Fujiand perhaps Sony, because even their kit lenses are of a good standard, albeit quite expensive. Colours are rich, as are the tones, as the image covers everything from black to white with some detail remaining in both extremes.

One thing I will be adding to it is a circular polariser, but apart from that I think this lens is pretty much great and a good addition to a good camera. I can capture really nice night time scenes with no flash with this lens with clarity. I originally got the XF35mm lens, as it was highly rated and seemed to be good as a general purpose prime lens. This easily limits the flexibility of the lens.
