I have so many feelings about this. a dead mother and her house,courtroom drama,husband and wife relationship and school playground mums and daughters.
It kinda reminded me of the TV Series Motherland without done of the humour. But Sadie will do anything for her daughter and she is left no choice when her husband tells her to leave.
A twisty page turner with a shocking last paragraph! Lies have consequences, when they eventually surface. Sadie’s forced back to a life she thought she’d left behind and under the control of her mother, who passed away a few years ago. Sadie just wants to get their lives back on track.
Back in London and Sadie has a few encounters with the school gate mums who aren’t too happy and do everything to make it known. . The Lies You Told by Harriet TyceI give this book 4 starsSadie loves her daughter and will do anything to keep her safe.
