He is what we don’t want to believe evil is made of. Ominous, suspenseful and filled with jaw-dropping twists that will take you by surprise, this is a must-read for any thriller lover. He is completely sane and aware of his actions, meticulously plans his every move, and seems so normal that his victims willingly accompany him to their doom.

In summary, this is a great debut with scope for a sequel and I would love to read more by the author. I wasn’t able to hold the pace of the readalong and I gobbled it up in a couple if days, causing it to be very hard to avoid giving spoilers! I finish the book cover to cover within the day. I loved the setting of the Louisiana Bayou, it was really atmospheric.
