Can’t fault these for the money, they sound amazing through my ifi uno dac connected to either my laptop or iPhone. I think Grado may want to consider a more durable solution of binding the two halves of the headband together, but it's likely a necessary cost-cutting measure, seeing as they're made in the USA. Just don't expect to ever use these in a confined public place. For reference, I relocated the opian to OPA2134 and settled down.

The head band padding has started to separate near the left earcup. Of course, it looks like a traditional Grado sound, but rather the vocal and instrument range is the most beautiful headphone. This is something related to amplifier performance and compatibility, so headphones are by no means bad. Tonal balance is never warm, clear and glittering direction.

These days, I don't spend nearly as much time gaming for hours on end, so the long-term comfort is less of an issue for me. I've posted additional pictures showing the issue. Before I had a Marschall we stay in the same genre and much better!
