First time using any type of paint. This is an amazing kit. It stays open for me which makes the paint sort of dry when I get back to using it. I usually use watercolor but wants to learn how to use gouache.

I think the coverage can be a little tricky though and would use these with or as a base for normal gouache or gouache acryla for a more full coverage and creamier flatter colours. Each colour is also named. Wanted to try gouache for the first time and found this set very easy to work with. Taking the top plastic coverings of these took some time and effort and a lot of paint on my hands!

Colours are very vibrant and dry quickly on paper. I have to admit that I am still struggling to control consistency but its not the paint. My daughter loved it.
