It’s after yet another disappointment from her inept “mother” (I use the term lightly) that Ellie finds herself crying in a local bookstore. The book was in good condition when i received it!

This is the best Christmas romance i read in 2022, which is high praise. We even had a little bit of added drama with Dylan themself. I adored the main characters and side characters so much.

I love the friendship between Ellie & Andrew along with the romantic relationship with Ellie & Jack. I really think a lot of people will be able to relate to the characters experiences. Ellie finding a family within Jack & Andrews family was so sweet.
The market for sapphic love stories is severely lacking and I made sure to pre-order this book the second it became available. The story was wonderfully told over the dual time lines. Overall, this was the perfect romance with realistic ups and downs and more than a splash of fate. And even though it’s marketed as a holiday romance it’s not that christmassy.
She’s jobless, loveless, and on the verge of homelessness. So when the landlord of her workplace proposes a crazy plan she decides to go with it. It’s a queer contemporary romance then with a lot of representation. First of all, the DIVERSITY👏🏻From race, to gender, to sexuality, and mental health we have it all.
