Small amount of damage on the corner of the one I received, but Mum was not bothered so I didn’t worry about exchanging it. This is a large-sized advent calendar from Nivea, with beauty contents representing a fair cross-section of their toiletries range. Everything was in place as it should be on arrival, and none of the doors had opened in transit. The small sized products behind some of the doors do use a higher packaging:product ratio than retail versions, but Nivea have definitely done a good job of making certain the calendar itself is recyclable through widely available methods.
Indeed, apart from the product containers there’s no plastic. A few of the gifts are full-sized products: lip balms, eye mask, blender sponge, and wash puff; whilst those that aren’t (such as the shower creams, micellar water, and body lotions) offer more than one use.
Lip balm of one kind or another accounts for a sixth of the items - and the three shower creams are identical (in previous years there have been different scents). You need to sort this out! I bought this directly from you for £30.
It’s always a good sign when the intended recipient of a present is cooing over how lovely it is. The calendar is double-sided, with different scenes on front and back, and doors to open on both sides.
According to the product title this includes after shave balm - this is a mistake and I can confirm that it doesn’t. And inside the box the gifts are held in a pair of papier mache trays – one for each side of the calendar.
