Until today it has worked very well. All things considered, I recommend this for anyone wanting to keep a small or tiny garden in trim. The hedge trimmer blade has a stated 10mm diameter cut capacity but it struggled to cut anything thicker than 7mm for me. For the purpose I bought this for it's a handy tool to have.

Otherwise it's a single unadjustable height. Very functional for vines and pruning where branches do not exceed 3/16" thick. As you can see in my before and after photos, I used this to cut back a small hedge and shrubbery that was overgrowing a path and hand rail.

Swapping the grass blade for the hedge trimmer blade was really quick and simple once you know to reverse the crank and align the pins correctly, both easily done without tools. I don't plan to use the grass shears often so that's a moot point for me but it could be to other buyers. I like that it's lightweight and of good quality materials. Regarding the 3 height settings for cutting grass it's important to note you need the grass receiver attached and this is an optional extra you'll need to buy.

However, the hedge trimmer blade does need a flat screwdriver for 2 screw when fitting & removing. Thirty minutes later it was all cut back and cleared up. With a 5ah battery fitted I found the tool nicely balanced and comfortable to use.
