It's very easy to use although I think my 6 year old would struggle to use it on her own hair just because she couldn't hold it in place and stamp at the same time. This gem stamper is fab! Such a great purchase! The gems can be applied to hair but also onto other surfaces too.

I also found that I can remove the gems from her hair very easily and reapply them to the disc too be reused.
