I am new to the field of trading myself and consider myself lucky that I came across this book earlier in my trading journey. This books tells us how to deal with market without any fear or greed and what should be the mindset of traders while dealing with the trade. Some might argue that the gesture itself isn't that grand, but i would counter by saying that it's not the effort but the intention behind it that counts. Thanks for everything mark douglas!

Mark Douglas has given examples of real life to explain the concept of human behavior towards the market. Douglas articulates the common dangers of trading, such as failing to take responsibility, and then gives us principles and tools to overcome them. Thinking in terms of probabilities and not ‘right and wrong’ is perhaps the most important single understanding.

I purchased this book for a total of 1325 rupees from the above mentioned seller, solely because of the ratings given to them by other people ( may not be the most rational way of thinking, I know). Not only did the book arrive in great condition, properly packed and stuff like that but besides that there was also this hand written note provided by the seller himself, which from my point of view was a nice touch. This is a watershed text on investing and trading psychology. It’s great reading about his point of view on what we face before entering, exiting, holding or selling a potenial loser or winner trade & everything we feel even after that trade has been executed even if it was in the past.

Mark Douglas is a maseter at giving insight into the potential emotions we face along the journey of being a trader. Trading is a rough venture but it’s worth while if you emotions are in check & you understand the risk and manage it well. M. It's a must read book for those who's struggling in the market from atleast one year and isn't profitable yet.
