The way ikea cot is structured supports this safety guard not to slide out from under the mattress. As we can't keep an eye on them all the time, we got this Safety 1st Portable Bed Rail to attach to a single bed. No height regulation2.

It’s also quite well balanced down by the mattress and child - an adult resting down on the guard wouldn’t flip it. Easy to use. Please don't laugh, but I purchased this baby guard to give me peace of mind by making sure that my beloved greyhound Harris doesn't roll off the bed at night time.

Attached a photo of the bed style so people can see if theirs is similar. I was mistaken, the bed mattress sits very low in the bed frame so this means the bedguard just about goes under the mattress but it won't fold down. So far so good, product looks strong enough Who invented it is genious!

! The bed rail fits under the mattress and feels sturdy. It was easy to expand to its full length by unlocking the legs and stretching it out.

Very handy and good quality. The fold and the inserts are quite thick making mattress to bend3. The poles are made of metal and there's a breathable mesh.
