Functionally it works the same, I just can't understand why the "U" isn't vertical which would seem to solve this minor design flaw. I have a front loader so I can't really dump the contents of the bag very easily which is why the zipper is so convenient.

It is very sturdy and thick. I wish that it had a way to hang over a door but I just bought an over the door hook to hang it on and that works great. Machine washable and holds a large amount of laundry items Six years and still going strong.

I had mine embroidered for easy separating. It’s easy to slip the bag off of the frame when I feel like tossing it in the washer with the rest of the laundry. It stays open as advertised and is easy to carry either using the rigid frame at the top or the strap in the back. I DIYed a solution with a hot glue gun, and it seems to have done the trick (pic #4).
