The car is driven manually by a trigger (click button) and then goes into CONTINUOUS LOOP when passing through the ramps. A perfect Christmas gift for our hotwheels fan He has already collected many individual cars and could hardly wait to test this track The only minus point, there is nothing on the pack that you need D batteries for this right away.

I would not recommend the train for sensitive neighbors. Son loved it. Assembly wasn't too tricky, much like IKEA instructions Hot Wheels make them mostly simple diagram based so a bit of trial and error plus checking the box art art as set up. Fun factor mega.

I find the drive motor very loud, but it doesn't bother anyone in our house. Everyone has normal A batteries at home but for them you should write this on the pack so that you know without opening the box first and reading the instructions 38cm in length. Excellent.
