Bumfuzzle Card Game: Essentials:

Miserable Old G1t
Whilst not of the standard of say Uno (which is superb), this is not bad, and can be fun. The cards have a variety of instructions to follow which if you don’t you have to roll the lobster and mobster characters. There are also movement cards.
Curious Magpie
A really quick party game to learn and play - took around 15 minutes with 2 of us but would be better with a couple more. Since this isn’t one of those games where you use stock question / answer cards, where after a while you’ll likely be seeing the same ones, this doesn’t have that drawback. The concept is effectively to avoid collecting the fish bone tokens.

You start by making your explorer and setting out the route by putting out the start card, 18 path cards, the yeti, four footprint cards and finally the cave. Some cards you can also keep for later as free passes etc. The players then choose one of their number cards to play and put this down, whoever has the highest number moves along the mountain path by that number and the mountain guide then chooses a movement card. I think this is a well-designed game and on offer at £12.

Lobster Mobster is a very interactive game that is great to play with both kids and adults since it is quite easy to understand. All in all, this is a decent quality, nicely presented family game, but equally for adults.

Please give me feedback if you found it helpful. I think my kids are a little bit young to enjoy playing independently but as a family it is good fun and has produced some hilarious moments. The online how to play video really helped understand the rules of the game.

At first glance, it might seem a little lame, but there is a very wide variance of ‘faces’, so not quite as simple as it looks…. The cards are nicely made, bright and colourful. Tha game is for 3+ players so it is good for family events like Christmas. A definite party game.

This Ginger Fox board game came well-presented and would definitely be giftable – potentially a great Christmas day game? I really like the fact that to play this game you don't need any batteries or USB charger to play this game. Could be good for Christmas parties etc. Ideal for taking away as it’s a small box.
