5m by eye measurement. Thorough washing removed the smell, and the device is humidifying the air quite well for the last month. One tank is enough for around 10 hours of operation on the small setting. 8L tank which can last up to 24 hours without the need to refill.

It is also not noisy, just some white shhhh noise from the water boiling on the heater. The machine came with 2 refills of the Vicks Vapopack, I haven't used those yet but I tried to put a few drops of essential oil that I use normally on the inhalant cup. So, don't place it too near the wall when you are using it.
The scent doesn't come out as significant as I drop into my smaller humidifier. So when I switched this on, the smell of those oils started filling the room. The machine will turn off by itself when the water level is too low. But if you have asthmatic issues or very dry skin this humidifier will be a good choice.
And that someone added essential oils into the water tank (which is not recommended by the manual). Hope I don't need to do it too often. Amazon delivered an item that was already used by someone.
The humidifier has a large water tank, 3. I am more concern by the amount of cleaning and de-scaling i need to do. I probably need to add a few more drops. It's isn't too noisy but you can hear some noise, so if you are the person whom needs absolute silence to sleep then you might find it a bit noisy.
This is my first time trying a larger size humidifier, and this humidifier has the warm mist function that can produce warm steam which it's claimed to have a better effect on smoothing the throat. To be honest I find my small size humidifier is more handy and take up less space. I placed it near the wall as the mist condenses on the wall so I quickly moved it somewhere else. But the downside is there is no timer for setting its operating time, which means you will need to leave it to run throughout the night or you will have to get up and turn it off.
It has 2 humidity level. The size of this humidifier is quite large, but the cable isn't very long, about 1. I had to switch it off, and wash everything with liquid soap (be extremely careful about the part with electronic components).
