I used it 2-3 times a day. I had to keep reminding him to hold his breath as he sprayed it so it wouldn’t go into his lungs the first week, but now he’s got it down to a routine so he doesn’t choke or gag. He uses the most powerful head and gives it just a little squirt in each nostril, blowing his nose in between sprays.

He will sometimes tell me to listen as he breathes easily through his nose. We started using this to irrigate his sinuses every morning and every evening a little over a month ago.

I bought this for my 8 year old son who has chronic sinusitis. So far he seems to be breathing better, and his nose has been clear. I’ve tried a lot of Nettie pots and other contraptions, this one is my favorite by far but it’s not a permanent solution because I went through three bottles of these when I was sick for two weeks. He seems to be on antibiotics every couple of months for a sinus infection.

It’s a great step, or maybe solution, when trying to get use to a complete irrigation system. He’s actually able to get a restful night sleep, and hopefully he’ll be able to stay off antibiotics for a while. He doesn’t even fight doing it(which is big for him), because he actually feels better afterwards. There was a slight learning curve for him.

I love the bubble end the best.
